Lucy Baughman

Lucy Baughman, age 86, passed away on Saturday, January 12, 2019 at the Aspirus Wausau Hospital, after a long illness, with her loving husband by her side.  She was born on July 31, 1932 to the late Jacob M. and Annie (Arnold) McMillan in Nochatee, FL.   She met her soulmate, Paul Baughman, and the two exchanged marriage vows on April 29, 1950 in Belle Glade, FL, a union that endured and grew for 69 years – a true American love story and true soulmates.  He survives.

In her younger years, Lucy worked as a finishing manager at Cartex Corporation, which she did for 27 years.  Lucy was an avid shopper, was an amazing cook and enjoyed hosting gatherings.

Lucy cherished her family, especially her husband, Paul.

Lucy is survived by her loving husband: Paul Baughman Jr. of Merrill, son: Paul (Brenda) Baughman III of North Carolina, daughter: Sharon (William) Schodowski of Tennessee, 5 grandchildren: Jennifer, Sean, Kendal, Kyle and Nichole and 3 great grandchildren: Kaylee, Logan and Conor.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sons: James and Roger Baughman and grandson: Paul Baughman IV.

A celebration of life for Lucy will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 1pm at Waid Funeral Home in Merrill.

A time of visitation for Lucy will be held in Prospectville, Pennsylvania on Tuesday, January 22, 2019 at 12 noon until 2pm at the Wayside Chapel in the Whitemarsh Memorial Park Cemetery, with a burial to follow.
