Tyler Krenz

Tyler Steven Krenz, age 16, died unexpectedly in an automobile accident on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 in the town of Pine River.  Tyler was born to Scott and Heidi (Hollander) Krenz on February 9, 2004 in Merrill.  He was a sophomore at Merrill High School.

Tyler enjoyed gaming, hunting and hanging out with his friends.  He will be sadly missed, but always in the hearts of his family and friends.

Tyler is survived by his father: Scott Krenz of Merrill; mother: Heidi (fiancé Dan) Krenz of Gleason; sister: Brittany (Tim) Krenz; brothers: Christian (Rickel) and Zachary Krenz, all of Merrill; niece: Lexi; nephew: Colten; grandmother: Lynn Barrett of Gleason; grandfather: Patrick (Darlene) Hollander of Ringle; great-grandparents: Patricia Hollander of Wausau and Gladys Hintze of Merrill; uncles: Junior (Erica) Osheim of Gleason and Kenneth Krenz of Merrill; aunts: Bobbie (Alex) Barrett of Merrill; Vicky (Jay) Ellis of Irma; Kay (Tom) Krenz of Merrill and Sherri (James ‘Skip’) Heisler of Merrill, along with many cousins and friends.  He was preceded in death by his brother: Justin Krenz, grandparents: Kenneth (Diane) Krenz, great-grandparents: Clyde (Irene) Schmidt, Gabe Hollander and cousins: Keaton and Kendel Weisman and Anthony Moser.

A drive-thru visitation will be held at Waid Funeral Home on Monday, May 4, 2020 from 1pm-4pm. To protect the health and safety of all, services are currently being limited as required by state and local authorities & the CDC which will require all to remain in their vehicles.  Please come to the visitation from hwy 64 onto Eagle Drive entering the south driveway to help with flow of traffic.  There will be a table placed near the family for you to leave a condolence or special memory of Tyler that you have prepared ahead of time.
