Terrence Mueller

Terrence ‘Terry” M. Mueller, age 62, of Merrill, passed away unexpectedly at his residence on Thursday, January 19, 2023.  He was born on April 19, 1960 to the late Richard and Vera “Vicky” (Kampf) Mueller in Wausau, WI.  Terry married Gina Sholund on April 16, 1983, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Bloomville, WI.  Together, they had two children, son: Tyler (Breanne) Mueller and daughter: Tara Marie Mueller, both of Merrill. Terry attended and graduated from Wausau High School before bravely enlisting in the United States Army National Guard until his honorable discharge. 

He had worked previously as a folio operator at the Brokaw Paper Mill for many years.  Terry loved his job and the friends he made.  He is remembered as a funny man that also had a sarcastic side to him!  Terry looked forward to campfires with friends and family, and telling his infamous scary stories; he was an excellent story teller.  He enjoyed fishing, deer hunting and going on camping adventures.  Terry always seemed to be pranking someone or telling jokes.  He was loved and will be missed but will be with his family again one day.

Terry was blessed with four grandchildren: Brayden, Madison, Gabriel and Gavin.  He is further survived by four sisters: Sandy (Gene) Roesler, Sue Koenig, Shelly Mueller and Shaune (Jeff) Harter.  He was preceded in death by his parents and brother: Thomas (Nancy) Mueller.

There will be a private celebration of life held for Terry at a later date.
