Sharon Degner

Sharon Rae Degner, age 78 of Merrill, Wisconsin passed away at her home on June 25, 2022. She was born on September 10, 1943, to the late Leslie and Loretta (Speas) Krahn in Merrill, Wisconsin.

On April 9, 1998, Sharon married Gerald Degner in Hawaii on the Big Island. Sharon was very bossy and Gerlad loved her that way. For most of Sharon’s life, she worked at the Weinbrenner Shoe Company.

She enjoyed her word search puzzles and loved hanging out with her grandchildren and visiting her family in Arizona. She will be missed dearly by her family.

She is survived by her husband Gerald Degner, children: Timothy Hintze and Scott Hintze, step children: Penny Marie Ullenbrauck and Gerald Eugene Degner, grandchildren: Shantelle Megariz, Shaynah Hintze, Shannon Hintze, Shayla Richard, Jessica Keeran, and Justine Godwin, step grandchildren: Zach Degner and Nikki Sanders, great grandchildren: Elaina Megariz, Dylan Megariz, Hailey Meza, Zoey Meza, Mason Keeran, and Jaxon Keeran, siblings: Kathy Hanrahan, JoAnn Benzinger, Detta Kleinschmidt, and Gary Krahn. She was preceded in death by her parents, siblings: Debbie Prentice, Larry Krahn, and Terry Krahn.

No services at this time. Cremation to take place.
