Saun Phillip Hayes, age 40, of Merrill, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Friday, January 28, 2022. He was born on February 2, 1981, to Gordon and Holly Joy (Kummer) Hayes in Antigo. His father survives. Saun attended and graduated from Antigo High School and was always furthering his education and always ready to learn something new. He had recently started a new job in the maintenance department at Harley Davidson in Tomahawk. Prior to that, Saun worked at Crystal Finishing Systems in Schofield and had many friends he considered family.
Saun was a brilliant man, he was always the relative that family wanted to be around, as he was so loving and would help anyone in need. He was Mr. Fix-It, in every sense of the word! You could count on Saun to help fix anything or if it needed to be torn apart and put back together, he was your guy. He also was a skilled plumber. Saun looked forward to the annual family hunting seasons, especially deer hunting, and he also enjoyed fishing. He liked to attend the MC Festivals and was always up for a family gathering or event. Saun loved life. He loved his family and friends beyond words. Saun was always ready for a camping trip, the carp fishing contest or racing dirt bikes. He was a man of God and had an unshakeable faith that he would pass on to his family and friends every day. Saun and his family were members of the Journey Church in Merrill. He will be sadly missed but has left a mark on the hearts of his family and friends that will never go away. Saun loved his children more than anything, they were his world. ~To Infinity and Beyond~
