Roger D. Wolf

Roger D. Wolf, age 64, of Merrill, passed away on Sunday, July 7, 2024 at Waterfall Health Services in Wausau, while under the care of Aspirus Comfort Care & Hospice Services. He was born on June 15, 1960 to the late Sy and June Wolf in Milwaukee, WI.

Roger worked for many years at Marathon Carpet Cleaning in Milwaukee, WI and then worked as a custodian at a jail. He enjoyed watching wrestling, biking, going to the library and attending the Lincoln County Fair every year. Roger was a HUGE Taylor Swift fan, and well as a Dallas Cowboys enthusiast. He is lovingly remembered as a loving, outgoing and generous person that had a contagious laugh and was kind to all who knew him.

Roger will be sadly missed by his fiancé: Dawn Aleman, son: Jim Thorpe, brothers: Jack, Sy Jr. and Dennis Wolf, as well as his fur-baby, his cat, Lily. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Janet Wolf and cat: White Socks.

There will be no services for Roger. A burial at Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery will take place at a later date.
