Phyllis Ann Fehr, age 74, of Gleason, passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. She was born September 10, 1943 in Gleason to the late Clarence and Julia (Basil) Zoellner. Phyllis and Larry Fehr were united in marriage on December 12, 1960 in Dubuque, Iowa. He survives.
Phyllis and Larry owned and operated Tanglewood Bar for many years. She enjoyed taking care of their patrons and getting to know them as friends throughout the years. Not many Sundays would go by without listening to her favorite Polkas. She loved her family and laughed through many game nights. Whenever she got together with her sister, they would play non-stop games of Skip-Bo; she and her siblings loved playing cards. Phyllis also played softball, bowled and golfed. She enjoyed many puzzles, watching baseball and watching her birds at their feeders. Phyllis especially enjyed time with her grandchildren. She was married for 57 years and looked forward to their trips to the casino or for a simple scenic drive. She will be sadly missed.
Survivors include her husband: Larry Fehr, Gleason; daughter: Laurie (Daniel) Tracey; son: Dean Fehr; grandchildren: Brianna Tracey and Logan Tracey; sister: Donna Neumeyer; and brothers: Ronnie (Grace) Zoellner and Gerald Zoellner. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 17, 2018 at Waid Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM Friday, March 16th and again from 10 AM until the time of service on Saturday, all at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Chat Cemetery.
