Paula Jacobson

Paula L. Jacobson, age 49, of Merrill, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, February 26, 2014 at her home. She was born November 10, 1964 in Dubuque, IA to the late John and Victoria (Murphy) Anthoney. Paula and Miles Jacobson were united in marriage on June 5, 1987 at United Methodist Church in Hazel Green. Paula attended school in Hazel Green, WI and later went on to attend VOTECH in Fennimore, WI. She worked in property management all her life. Paula had lived in Hazel Green, WI through the mid 1990's until moving to Merrill. She enjoyed crafting and expressed her talent through scrapbooking. Paula enjoyed spending time outdoors camping and looked forward to an annual trip to Bayfield for the Apple Fest. Most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family and her beloved rescue pets. Survivors include her husband, Miles Jacobson, of Merrill; daughter: Josilynn Jacobson, Merrill; son: Christopher Jacobson, Antigo; sister: Angie (Gary) Shellenberger, Merrill, two brothers: Chuck (Marlene) Anthoney, Wausau, and Steve (Renee) Anthoney, Merrill; and step-father: John Luse, Merrill. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, John Anthoney. A time of visitation to celebrate Paula's life will be held from 3-5 PM Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Waid Funeral Home.
