Nancy Hojan

Nancy Marie Hojan, 85, of Merrill, passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2018, at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, WI. She was born on June 18, 1932 to Nicholas and Anna (Kautz) Manderfield in Racine,WI. On September 12, 1953 she married the love of her life, Joe Hojan in Merrill.
Nancy was involved in her church, always cooked for and donated to the Pine River Fire department, worked for 20 happy years at Northwood’s Evergreens, but above all put her family first. Nancy was everything: a mother, grandmother, and a friend, she never shied away from work, and took care of everything and everyone.
She is survived by her husband: Joe Hojan; sons: Joseph (Dawn) Hojan and John Hojan; grandchildren: Jillian (Collin) Schooley, Hannah (Cody Calloway) Hojan, Samantha Hojan, Lauren Hojan, Reid Hojan, and Aidan Hardy; great- grandchildren: Adalyn and Beckett Schooley; and sister-in-law: Violet Manderfield. She is preceded in death by her parents: Nicholas and Anna Manderfield; daughter: Kathy Hojan; brother: Jerry Manderfield; and dear friend: Gerry
Visitation for Nancy will be held on Saturday January 20, 2018 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Merrill from 9:00 am- 11:00 a.m. followed by a mass of Christian burial service at 11:00 am, Father Chris Kemp will officiate.
