Michelle Polacek

Michelle Patricia Polacek, age 43, of Merrill, Wisconsin passed away on February 18, 2022, in Merrill, Wisconsin. She was born on January 31, 1979, to Patrick Lee Willis and Patti Mary Romatoski in Merrill, Wisconsin.

Her affectionate smile caught the eye of Gregory Matthew Polacek and they were married on September 21, 2019 in Merrill, Wisconsin.  It was love at first sight. Together they opened Overboard Bar & Grill.

Michelle was a Green Bay Packers fan, lover of blue grass music, and the life of the party. She was funny, stubborn, and extremely generous. Her and Greg have held many benefits at their bar and grill including Toys for Tots, Humane Society, and other various charities.

Michelle was incredibly strong willed. She had the best laugh and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Greg Polacek, children: Dakota Willis, Brianna Taylor, and Owen Taylor, stepdaughter: Samantha Taylor, her grandbaby Elikai Taylor who was the light of her life, mother: Patti Clark, stepfather: Tiny Clark, siblings: Kim Willis, Brent (Carrie) Clark, Seth (Sara) Clark, and Kelly (Chris) Clark, half-brother: Jeff Engle, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Mary Romatoski, father, Patrick Willis, and stepson Brandon Polacek.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 2:00 pm and Waid Funeral Home. A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 26, 2022, from 11:00 am until the time of service also at the funeral home. A Celebration of Life and luncheon will follow the service at the Overboard Bar and Grill.
