Michael 'Mike' Wangerin

Michael ‘Mike’ D. Wangerin, age 39, of Merrill, was born into eternal life on Monday, November 1, 2021.  Michael was born in Merrill on October 23, 1982, to Dave and Pam Wangerin.  He was a student at Washington Elementary, Merrill Junior High and Merrill Senior High, graduating in 2004.  He spent his remaining years at Lincoln Industries.  Mike enjoyed his friends and Special Olympics, especially bowling.  He loved watching game shows and movies and loved loud music!  Mike had a very delightful sense of humor and was a very happy young man.  He enjoyed being outdoors, taking many trips to Florida, but mostly, being in the company of his many beautiful labs.  Mike had such a special bond with his deceased grandfather, Melvin Wangerin.

Surviving are his parents: Dave and Pam Wangerin, grandfather: LeRoy Frick, many aunts, uncles and cousins, along with his beloved puppy: Willard.  He was preceded in death by his grandmothers: Judy Frick and Jeanette Wangerin and his canine brothers: Magnum, Bruiser, Max and Dunkin.

Per family request, no services will be held for Mike.

Donations in Mike’s name may be directed to the Lincoln County Humane Society.
