Michael “Mike” Leder, 61, Beaver Dam, formerly of Merrill, died Sunday, November 29, 2009 at his home.
Mike was born September 29, 1948, in Merrill, to Theodore and Irene (Myszka) Leder. He served in the Army from 1964 – 1972. He attended NTC and graduated with a degree in Agricultural Mechanics. Mike then worked at Northland Stainless, Inc. in Tomahawk as a welder. He moved to Beaver Dam in 1998 and worked for General Thermal Dynamics. Survivors include his mother Irene Leder of Gleason, two sons, Charlie Doescher of Merrill, Mike Leder II, Bever Dam; three daughters, Tammy Woellner, of Wausau, Jamie Leder, Merrill, Rebekah (Kevin) Pophal; four brothers, Ronald (Gloria) Leder, Bloomville, Ted (Nancy) Leder Jr., Parish, Matt (Kim) Leder, Merrill, Tim (Carol) Leder, Oregon State; five sisters, Delores (John) O’Donnel, Jacksonville, FL, Peggy (Jerry) Monti, Merrill, Josephine (Mark) Ollhoff, Wausau, Kristine (Perry) Block, Merrill, Jane (Richard) Helm, Merrill, 11 grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Theodore Leder.
Services will be Friday, December 4, 2009, at 11:00 AM at Waid Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until the time of the service on Friday, also at the funeral home. The Rev. William Hohman will officiate. Burial will follow at
