Marlin Miller

Marlin Miller Marlin Miller, 59, of rural Gleason, passed away at his home January 21, 2012, after several years of cancer. He was born June 10, 1952, at Manistique, MI to the late Victor and Eva (Mishler) Miller. He received Christ in his youth and was baptized. He was a member at the Gleason Mennonite Church in Wisconsin at his death. On October 19, 1974 he married Irene Miller, daughter of Noah and Lydia (Gingerich) Miller. Their home was blessed with 12 children: Elaine, wife of Elwood Derstine, Thorp, WI; Nathanael, husband of Esther, Augusta, WI; Lowell, Kirksville, MO; Ethan, Clare, MI; Florence, wife of Marlin Fox, Clare, MI; Lynette, Gleason; Violet, wife of Dave Krahn, Leamington, Ontario; Doris, Clare, MI; Wendell, Augusta, WI; Denise, Clare, MI; Katrina, and Janice, at home; and 8 grandchildren. He is also survived by his mother, Eva (Mishler) Miller, 2 sisters, Nancy Miller and Naomi (Jason) Yoder, and 4 brothers: Vernon (Sue) Miller, Philip (Susan) Miller, David (Cheryl) Miller, and Nathan (Bina) Miller. Preceding him in death was his father, Victor Miller, and a brother, Harold Miller. The funeral will be 10 AM Wednesday, January 25 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Merrill, with the ministers from the Gleason Mennonite Church officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 1PM to 4PM and 5PM to 8PM at Trinity Lutheran Church. Burial will be at the Gleason Mennonite Cemetery.
