Lynda Benzinger

Lynda Benzinger, age 62, of Merrill, passed away on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Pine Crest Nursing Home in Merrill. Lynda was born on July 22, 1955 to David “Knocky” and LuEllen (Utecht) Benzinger in Merrill. Lynda enjoyed car rides to the casino. Lynda enjoyed cuddling with her beloved dog, “Tiny”. She was well-known as a good cook and wonderful baker. Lynda enjoyed making meals and treats for her family and friends. She enjoyed spending quality time with her family, especially her nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Lynda also had some lifelong friends that were close to her heart: Judy, Joanne and Terrylyn. She will be sadly missed. Lynda leaves behind her mother: Lu Benzinger, brothers: Terry and Barry (Patty) Benzinger, nieces: Jenny (Joe) Benzinger , and Amy (Tim) Mielke, nephews: Brad and Greg (Tiffany) Benzinger, great nieces: Cassie and Taylor and great nephews: Mason, Tyler, Damien, Brett, Daxton, and Owen. Lynda is preceded in death by her father: David Benzinger, uncles: Mike, George, Leslie, Harry, and Albert Benzinger, and aunts: Grace Lau and Mil Borchardt. A Memorial Service will be held on Wed.,Dec.27, 2017 at Pinecrest in the chapel from 5-8 pm. Waid Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Merrill is assisting the family with arrangements.
