Luella Geibel

Luella Adele Giebel went home to heaven on May, 4, 2018.  She was the daughter of the late Ernest and Louise(Kleinschmidt) Geibel. Luella was born on March 10, 1933 in Neptune, New Jersey.

Luella grew up in New Jersey and graduated from Riverdale Grammar School and from Butler NJ High School.  She began her career with Prudential Insurance Company in 1951 and worked in Newark and Roseland, NJ, before transferring to Plymouth, MN where she retired in 1984 as a computer systems analyst after 33 years.

Luella moved to Merrill, WI and became a caretaker for her mother for 10 years. She was an avid reader and belonged to the TB Scott of the library and working at the book sales.  She was also a HCE and Copper Dells Homemakers. Luella liked to travel and visited Europe and Hawaii.  She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.

Preceded in death by: her mother, Louise Geibel.

A special thankyou to the staff at Pinecrest Nursing Home for their wonderful care during Luella’s residence there.
