Leonard Woller

Leonard Woller, age 91, of Wausau, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital. He was born October 15, 1925 in the Town of Maine to the late William and Martha (Schultz) Woller. Leonard and Violet Utecht were united in marriage on October 23, 1946. She preceded him in death on February 23, 1982. Leonard and LaVine (Neumann) Ohrmundt were married on July 12, 1987. She survives. Leonard attended grade school in the Town of Maine. He worked as a dairy farmer all his life. Leonard also kept himself busy working as a cheesemaker, dairy hauler and bartender. In his spare time, he enjoyed Polka dancing and going on an occasional bus trip. Leonard played in a polka band called "Len & Vic Orchestra" with his brother. He was a member of the Central Wisconsin Polka Club as well as a member of Faith Lutheran Church his entire life. Survivors include his wife: LaVine Woller, Wausau; four children: Mary (friend Pat Karlen) Kurtzweil, Nancy (Guy) Frostman, Leon (Beth) Bartelt and Debbie (Steve) Blaubach; 11 grandchildren: Tracy (Ryan) Neumann, Daniel and Eric Kurtzweil, Bailey and Amber Frostman, April (Mike) Sather, Colton and Lillie Bartelt, Nathan (Nicole) Blaubach, Brittany (Ben) Flitcroft and Marisa (Mitch) Voermans; four great-grandchildren: Kali ( fiancé Jake Hurlburt) Sather, Keagan Sather, Laikyn Flitcroft and Caleb Neumann: and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, 1st wife, Violet Woller, 3 sisters and brothers-in-law: Ruth (Ed) Matthiae, Eleanor (William) Beilke, and Hertha (Wesley) Jaenke, one brother and sister-in-law, Victor (Delores) Woller, infant daughter and son-in-law, Pat Kurtzweil. Funeral services for Leonard will take place at 11 AM on Friday, June 16, 2017 at Faith Lutheran Church. The Rev. Joel Danner will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-7 PM Thursday, June 15th at Waid Funeral Home and again from 10 AM until the time of service Friday at the church. Burial will follow in Faith Lutheran Cemetery, South.
