Laurinda Krause

Laurinda P. Krause, 97, of Wausau, died Sunday March 20, 2011 at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau. Laurinda was born October 12, 1913 in the Town of Corning, the daughter of the late Otto and Anna (Kriewald) Wendt. Laurinda and Wilbert Krause were united in marriage September 4, 1937 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Town of Corning. Laurinda was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening, canning, flowers, sewing, geneology and spending time with her family. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church and of the Altar Guild. She is survived by: her granddaughters: Sandra (Keith) Rusch, Wausau, Rebecca (Burt) Williams, Fredericksburg, Iowa, Great granddaughters: Victoria Williams and Jenna Rusch, Great grandson: Uriah Williams. 5 sisters-in-law: Ethel (Vernon) Woller, Merrill, Edna Heckendorf, Wausau, Dorothy Krause, Dolores Krause, and Caroline Krause all of Merrill, 2 Brother-in-laws: Milton (Jeanie) Krause, Merrill, and Earl Krause, King, WI. Laurinda was preceded in death by her husband Wilbert, daughter, Marion Woller, 2 sisters-in-law: Joyce Olson, and Myrtle Sturm. 4 brothers-in-law: Walter, Arthur, and Elroy Krause and John Sturm. Funeral Services will be at 10 am, Thursday, March 24, 2011 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in the Town of Corning. Visitation will be Wednesday, March 23, 2011, at Waid Funeral Home, Merrill, from 4-7pm, and 9 am until the services on Thursday morning at the church. Pastor Joel Danner will officiate with burial to follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery in the Town of Corning. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Immanuel Lutheran Church.
