Karen A. Theilig

Karen A. Theilig (Sense), age 67, of Merrill, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 22, 2024, at the Marshfield Medical Center in Weston, WI. She was born on May 30,1957, in Merrill and attended and graduated from Merrill High School. Karen met Michael Theilig and the two exchanged marriage vows on September 15, 1990, in Merrill. He survives.

Karen worked for many years at Semco Menke in Merrill, and more recently, she worked part-time at Fleet Farm in Wausau. She looked forward to going to work there and enjoyed her co-workers very much. Karen was also an avid reader. Above all, she was the best mom to her fur-babies over the years. They meant the world to her and Princess will miss her dearly. Karen loved coming home to them and caring for them. 

Karen is survived by her husband: Michael Theilig, brother: Ron (Barb) Sense and her beloved fur-baby: Princess. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother: Jerry Sense and three fur-babies: Dyna, Callie and Katana,

A Celebration of Life for Karen will be held on Wednesday, September 4, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Waid Funeral Home in Merrill.
