Jessica "Jess" Skolaski

Jessica  Rae Skolaski “Jess”, age 39, passed away unexpectedly on January 1, 2020 at Aspirus Wausau Hospital.  Jessica was born on May 22, 1980 in San Antonio, Texas to Steve and Mary (Calk) Davis.  Jessica married Robby Skolaski on March 16, 2016.  He survives.

Jessica grew up in Texas. She was a double certified medical assistant and mostly worked in dermatology.  She joined the United States Army in 2003 doing basics at Ft. Leonard Wood in Missouri.  Jess loved to travel and had visited many states and had lived in Texas, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Alaska, Hawaii, Missouri, Louisiana and California. She loved the ocean.

Jess is survived by her loving husband; Robby, parents: Steve Davis, Boerne, TX, and Mary (Jeffrey) Abrahamson, Diboll, TX, step-children: Paige (John) Schowalter, Wausau, Moriah Skolaski, Aubendale, step-great grandchildren: Miaya, Arie, Zoey, brother; John Landon Davis (Angel), TX, step-brothers: Kenneth Abrahamson, Timothy Abrahamson, step-sister: Lauren Abrahamson, niece: Betty Comfort, TX many other relatives and friends.

Jess was preceded in death by grandparents: E.W. (Martha) Calk of Lytle, TX and John (Mary) Davis of Nixon, TX.

Gathering of Remembrance will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Waid Funeral Home, Merrill.

In lieu of flowers memorials preferred.
