Jessica Hartwig

Jessica Jane Hartwig, 33, of Merrill died Thursday, June 7, 2012 in Merrill. She was born October 2, 1978 in Merrill to Kelley & Carla (Westberg) Hartwig. Jessica was a 1997 graduate of Merrill Senior High School. She was a week away from graduating from Rasmussen College with an Associates Degree in Business Management and had planned to continue her education to obtain her Bachelor's Degree. Jessica currently worked at Merrill Veterinary Clinic as a Vet Assistant. She enjoyed camping, 4-wheeling and playing softball. Jessica was a Packer fan and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her children. Survivors include her children: Jerrissa Jane, Jerrick James and Montana Vandergeest, all at home; boyfriend: Jeremy Vandergeest, of Merrill; parents: Kelley & Carla Hartwig, of Merrill; sister: Jerrica Jane (David) Woller, of Merrill: niece & nephew: David Woller Jr. & Taylor Woller, Merrill; grandparents: Carl & Mary Jane Westberg; aunts & uncles: Paula Molitor, Lisa Westberg, Carl Westberg Jr, Shelley Hartwig, Kim (Kelly) Hartwig and Tylor (Charlotte Downing) Hartwig; many cousins and many friends. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Francis & Shirley Hartwig. Services will be held 11 AM Thursday, June 14, 2012 at St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. Fr. Mike McLain will officiate. Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at Waid Funeral Home and again Thursday from 9:30 – 10:30 at the funeral home. Burial will be in Snow Hill Cemetery, town of Scott.
