Janice K Moser, 58, of Merrill, passed away Friday, July 23, 2010 at her home.
She was born February 3, 1952 in Merrill to Russell and Veleeta (Hoffman) Wenzlick. On June 21, 1975 Jan married James Moser at
She worked for the Pea Cannery in Merrill, Anson & Gilkey Wood Factory and finally at Northwoods Evergreen, making wreaths until she retired in 2004. Jan enjoyed going to rummage sales, shopping, gambling, keeping in touch with her friends by phone calls or chatting online, playing games, watching football - especially the Tampa Bay Buccaneers – and keeping up with episodes of the Golden Girls and soap operas. She was also a big fan of Princess Di and Elvis Presley. Jan also thoroughly loved her Pabst Blue Ribbon. She loved to be outdoors shoveling snow, mowing her lawn or gardening whenever she could. Jan especially loved her dogs, her horse, Danny Boy and spending time with her grandchildren and other family and friends. She was a life member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary.
She is survived by her husband, James Moser Sr., Merrill; mother, Veleeta Wenzlick (special friend Andy Sullivan), Merrill; three children: Darlene Wenzelow, Merrill, Christine (Scott Jonet)Moser, Kewaunee, WI, and James (Meghan Ellis) Moser Jr., Irma; three grandchildren: 14 year old Kelsey Wenzelow, 11 year old Nicholas Wenzelow and 11 month old Anthony Moser; four sisters: Terri (Paul) Phillips, Virginia Beach, VA, Karen (Charles) Brock, Wendy (Elroy) Wiesman, and Debbie Wenzlick, all of Merrill: two brothers: Ralph Wenzlick, Merrill and Tom Wenzlick, Madison; 7 nieces and nephews, many great nieces and nephews and best friends; Phylis and Paul Mussell of Merrill whom she had daily coffee with.
She was preceded in death by her father, Russell “Bud” Wenzlick, and two brothers: Kevin “Harv” Wenzlick and Jeff Wenzlick.
