Jacqueline Engel

Jacqueline D. Engel passed away surrounded by family on September 18, 2020 at home under the care of Ascension Hospice Services. She was born on June 28, 1935 to the late Rosella Schroeder in Merrill, WI.  Jackie married the man of her dreams James W. Engel.  He survives.

Jackie worked along-side her loving husband as a secretary and treasurer for James W Engel, Inc. until they retired.  One of her greatest passions was for quilting and she was also able to inspire others through teaching it.  Jackie also enjoyed knitting, collecting angels, antiques and spending quality time with the grandchildren & great grandchildren.  Every morning was a treat because she would go out to meet and spend time with her favorite coffee group for over 40 years.  Jackie also had a sense of adventure and it paid off big at the casino.  She was an amazing wife, mother, friend and will be dearly missed.

Jackie is survived by her husband: James W Engel, daughters; Jamie Kalvestran, Jody (Gary) Granger, Tracy (Fred) Krueger, grandchildren; Rod (Jamie) Gennrich, Amber (Corey) Chonsky, Linsey (Aaron) Remig, Jeremy Heckendorf, Daniel (Alyssa) Kalvestran, great grandchildren; Ivy & Etta Gennrich, Caylah, Charlotte, & Lillian Chonsky, Oliver Kalvestran, brother: Dale Belke, sister in laws; Nancy (Lee) Gille, Darcy Taylor and many other relatives.

She is preceded in death by mother, brother: James Belke, great grandchild: Makena Ann.

Jackie will live on in the memories you shared with her, no public services will be held at this time.
