Fern D. Woller

Fern D. Woller, age 94, of Merrill, Wisconsin, passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022, at Pine Crest Nursing Home. She was born on January 21, 1928, to the late Bert and Emma Hunt in Merrill. She married Clarence Fitzgerald Woller who preceded her in death in 1963.

Fern was a homemaker, but she also worked at Merrill Cannery, Merrill Wire Works, and babysat. She enjoyed plastic canvas crafts, gardening, and travelling with her sister Lila to visit her niece.

Fern is survived by her son, Rodney (Donna) Woller of Wausau, WI, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons: Bernie (1990), and Michael (2019), and siblings: Lila, Dorothy, Florence, Murial and Leslie.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thank you and appreciation to all the staff at Pine Crest Nursing Home, Compassus Hospice, and Palliative Care for the care given to Fern.

Inurnment will take place at a later date at Merrill Memorial Park Cemetery.
