Elnora Moser

Elnora C. Moser, age 88, of Merrill, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, July 26, 2013, at Aspirus Wausau Hospital following a brief illness. She was born April 8, 1925, in Tomahawk, WI, the daughter of David and Regina (Weber) Shidler. She married Warren Moser on June 28, 1947. He preceded her in death on September 17, 2000. Elnora graduated from Tomahawk High School. She worked at Weinbrenner Shoe Company for many years. Elnora enjoyed reading, knitting and an avid game and card player. She was an avid Packer and Brewer's fan. Elnora was a member of the St. John's Ladies Aide and a member of a card club as well. She is survived by daughter, Sandra (Gary) Severt of Marathon and son, Timothy (Sandra) Moser of Merrill. Five grandchildren: Matthew and Amy Severt, Troy (Nicole) Johnson, Andrew Moser and Angela (Kyle) Smrecek. Four great-grandchildren: Dylan Johnson, Spencer Johnson, Abigail Johnson and Noah Smrecek. Elnora is further survived by a brother, Robert (Marilyn) Shidler and a sister, MaryEllen (Richard) Wingo. She is preceded in death by her husband, Warren, daughter Christine Johnson, son-in-law, Arthur Johnson and grandson, Timothy Johnson. Funeral services will be held at 7:30 pm, Monday, July 29, 2013, at the Waid Funeral Home. Pastor Nathan Kramer will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Wausau on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm, Monday, July 29, 2013, at the Waid Funeral Home.
