Dianne Kucirek

Dianne L. (Hongisto) Kucirek, of Merrill, WI, went home to Jesus on October 29, 2021 at the age of 62. Dianne will be dearly missed and always remembered.

Dianne was born on June 25, 1959 in Wakefield, MI to Arnold H. Hongisto and Audrey E Hongisto. She graduated from Stratford High School in 1977. She later married David Kucirek and was married for 23 years. Dianne joins her parents Arnold and Audrey Hongisto in Heaven. She is survived by her two children, Jennifer (Ryan) Domaszek of Minocqua, WI and Matthew Kucirek of Merrill, WI as well as six grandchildren, Peyton, Morgan, Chase, Emma, Kali and Ashlynn; her brother Gary (Julie) Hongisto; sister Linda (Dale) Krueger and brother Jeffrey Hongisto.

Dianne worked in insurance and was employed with Connexus. Dianne approached every obstacle in her life with her faith and ‘sisu.’ She was a dedicated mother and grandmother first and foremost. She especially loved her role as Nana to her six beautiful grandchildren. They, along with her children, were her heart and soul. Dianne was very artistic and loved to knit, craft and create things for her loved ones. She also enjoyed reading and spending as much time with her family as she could.

Please join us in celebrating her life on November 18, 2021 at Waid Funeral Home in Merrill, WI. Visitation will begin at 12pm and the memorial service will begin at 1pm.
