Delores Reichert

Delores Reichert, 90, of Merrill, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, July 12, 2014. Delores was born on March 3, 1924 in Merrill to the late Paul and Alice (Dahm) Raasch . She married Robert Reichert on April 27, 1945 in Merrill. He preceded her in death. Delores was a homemaker all of her life. She enjoyed reading, polka and country western music. Delores liked both the Packers and the Badgers. She was a gifted quilter and was a member of the quilters at Bell Tower. Delores loved spending time with her family. Delores is survived by five daughters; Beverly Reichert, Fargo, ND, Carol Reichert, Merrill, Sherry (Richard) Kort, Schofield, Diane (Patrick) Hanson, Christine (John) Reich, all of Merrill; grandchildren, Laura, Lisa, Steve, Jeff, Chad, Amy, Beth, John; ten great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren, many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and her friends at Bell Tower. Preceded in death by; brother, Hilbert Raasch, half sister; June Raasch , step brothers; Paul and Kenneth Mielke. Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. at Waid Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 16, 2014. Rev. Joel Hoelter will be officiating. Visitation will take place Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Emmanuel Cemetery, Schley.
