Chris M. Rehwinkel

Christopher M. Rehwinkel, age 51, of Merrill, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at his home.  He was born on March 4, 1973 to Mark and Linda (Streeter) Rehwinkel in Merrill.   His father survives.  Chris attended and graduated from Merrill High School, with the class of 1991.

Chris was currently working at Walmart, but had spent many years manufacturing and producing windows and doors.  He was an animal lover, especially dogs.  Chris liked to play poker and watch football games, often placing bets on his favorite teams.  He was an all-around sports fan.  Chris would help out his aunts Kris and Sue whenever he could, whether it was helping them with yardwork or just odd jobs around the house.  He is remembered as a loyal, strong-willed and funny guy that was always up for a good time!  Chris will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Chris is survived by his father: Mark Rehwinkel of Merrill, step-mother: Denise Rehwinkel of Merrill, brothers: Shawn Rehwinkel of Merrill, Jeremy Szulezewski of Merrill and Chad Rehwinkel of Rothschild, along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.   He was preceded in death by his mother: Linda Szulezewski.

A Celebration of Life for Chris will be held at a later date.
