Beverly Clayton

Beverly M. Clayton, 64, Merrill, died Friday, July 15, 2011 at Walnut Grove Assisted Living in Merrill. She was born June 24, 1947 in Marshfield to the late George and Weltha (Donovan) Bienfang. Beverly was a home maker. She had worked at DelMonte Foods in Rochelle, IL for several years and then worked at Hurd Millwork until retiring in 2007. Beverly was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, Merrill. She was an avid Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed playing cards and spending time with her family – especially her children and grandchildren. Survivors include three daughters, Dinah (Lowell) Campbell, Tammy (Jody) Sherfinski and Tonya (Brad) Kulawinski, all of Merrill; one son, Dale (Tiffany Schultz) Clayton, Merrill; nine grandchildren, Savannah, Zachary, Delaney, Mitchel, Austin, Dalton, Alyssa, Jersey and Tori; six sisters, Patricia Rassmussen, Rockford, IL, Bonnie Dallman, Shirley (Gordy) Wiederhoeft, and Nancy Smith, all of Merrill, Darlene (Donnie) Coonts, MO, and Linda (Andy) McCray, Chana, IL; and one brother Larry (Laurie) Bienfang, Tomahawk, WI. She was preceded in death by her parents , three brothers, George Jr, Mike and Harold; two sisters, Sheila Leavy and Margaret Cornett. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held 1:00 PM Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at St. Francis Catholic Church. Fr. Mike McLain will officiate. Visitation will be from 9 – 12:30 PM at Waid Funeral Home Tuesday before the service. Burial will follow in Merrill Memorial Park. Waid Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
