Aurelia Mae Case 90 of Harvey died Thursday August 12, 2010 at the St.



Aloisius Nursing Home of Harvey . Aurelia Mae Massart Case was born to Ferdinand Joseph



and Ella Marie (Cash) Massart on May 19, 1920 in the town of Merrill ,



Wisconsin . Her Family moved to the city of Merrill when she was an infant. Aurelia attended Catholic grade school and Merrill Public High School . She



was one of the first graduates of Holy Cross High School at Merrill in 1939.



In the years after graduating from high school she worked for Merrill



Manufacturing and Weinbrenner Shoes.





Aurelia married Fayette B. Case at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in



Merrill on May 5, 1945. They lived in Brokaw, and later moved to Merrill



WI. In 1959 the family moved to Mohall , ND and then to Harvey , ND in 1962.



She was an active member of St. Jerome 's Catholic Church of Mohall and St.



Cecilia Catholic Church in Harvey for the past 48 years.





Aurelia was first and foremost a child of God and a Christian woman. Her



day always began with prayer and ended with prayer. She considered her



family a blessing; to her every member of her family was a gift from God,



and she truly loved every one of us. She especially enjoyed her grand



children and great-grand children. They loved her very much and they will



miss her a lot. She also had a lot of friends whom she valued greatly.





Aurelia is survived by sons Theodore of Merrill, Jeffrey of Minot, ND and



daughter Elizabeth Case of Bismarck, ND; Grandsons Paul and his daughters Samantha and Briana of Bismarck; Sean and his son Dylan and daughter Melia



of Anchorage , AK., Granddaughter Amy (Diego) Washington , and children



Justin, Mikayla, Dante and Kaelani all of Anchorage , AK.; brother-in-laws



John (Gladys) Case of Merrill, and Joseph ( Doris ) Case of Tomahawk, WI.



sister-in-law Elaine Massart of Seattle , WA . and many nieces and nephews.





She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, sons John and Thomas, and



daughter Kathryn Case; brothers Leonard, Austin, Joseph, Francis, Ambrose,



Fritz, John, James and John Andrew; sisters Mary Christiansen, Florence



Saeger, Lucilla Massart, Ellen Rose Custer, and Clara Massart.



A native of Wisconsin , she was also a proud Green Bay Packer fan





Visitation will be 4-7 pm, Thursday, August 19, at the Waid Funeral Home. Prayer service will be Thursday at 6:30 pm at the funeral home. Graveside service will be 11:00 am Friday, August 20, at St. Francis Catholic Cemetery.



The Waid Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
