Arlette Mitchell

Arlette J Mitchell, age 90, of Merrill passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018.   She was born October 6, 1927 to the late Albert and Anna (Schmidt) Krauklis. Arlette and Gordon were united in marriage on February 24, 1945 in Irma, WI. He preceded her in death May 1, 2011.

Arlette and her husband founded Mitchell Metal Products, INC.  She worked at Mitchell Metal Products for 55 years as vice president and secretary.  Arlette loved photography, reading, camping, flowers and plants.  She enjoyed being a member of Our Saviour's Lutheran Church and engaging in the community.

Survivors include a daughter: Shirley of Merrill, son Dale (Sue) of Merrill, one grandson: Clint of Pewaukee, two granddaughters: Krista (Jackson) Clerveaux of Rice Lake, Kaitlin Mitchell (Ransey Osness) of Rhinelander, three great granddaughters: Kaela and Keira Clerveaux of Rice Lake, Izzy Osness of Rhinelander, three great grandsons: DeAirus, Marquez, and Eli Clerveaux of Rice Lake , two brothers: Lyle (Lavanda) Osolin of North Port FL, Elroy Osolin of Stuarts Draft, Virginia, sister in law: Delores Anderson of Melrose, brother in law: Orea Erickson of Melrose, many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by: parents, husband, and great grandson: Jacques Gordon Clerveaux.

Funeral services for Arlette will be held on Friday, August 24, 2018 at 11:00 at Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church in Merrill.  The Rev. Patricia Schutz will be officiating.  Visitation will be on Friday, August 24, 2018 from 9AM at Waid Funeral Home with entombment immediately to follow at Merrill Memorial Park Mausoleum and visitation again at church from 10 AM, until the time of service.
